Cariboo - Bowron Lake

BC Parks - Cariboo Camping

Barkerville, Horsefly and Bowron draw people east to the edge of the Cariboo Mountains for a historic journey back to the gold rush, to fishing lakes backed by snowy peaks, and in the case of Bowron - to one of the best canoeing experiences in BC. Barkerville's authentic gold rush town immerses you in a living museum of what it was like to live during the gold rush, with interpretive performers living the daily life of 19th century gold seekers.
