Sunshine, lakes, orchards, vineyards, golf courses, and deserts...it's no wonder the Okanagan is thought of as Canada's summer adventure country. The Okanagan is a vast area, stretching from the US border at Osoyoos, north to Vernon, west to the borders of Manning Park, and east along boundary country to the edge of the Kootenays. It's also one of the hottest, sunniest areas in Canada, making the Okanagan a great fair-weather destination - no matter what you like to do. A little sunshine, a little lakeside fun, and maybe an adventure or two; if that's what you want this summer, then set up camp at one of the Okanagan's Provincial Parks.
