Yurts
What is a yurt?
Used by the peoples of central Asia and Siberia since the 13th century, yurts are comfortable year-round. In Provincial Parks, yurts are equiped with a bunk bed and windows and insulation. You will also have a campsite with a fire pit and picnic table.
Are there cooking facilities in the yurts?
There are no cooking facilities inside the yurt, but your campsite will have a fire pit and a picnic table.
What bedding do we need to bring?
Yurts have a bunk bed and mattresses. You will need to bring your own bedding.
Yurts are available at the following Provincial Park campgrounds:
Allison Lake, Ellison, Fintry, Kekuli Bay, Kikomun Park, North Okanagan Lake, South Okanagan Lake, and Wasa Lake.
